As the student engagement coordinator for the School of Animal Sciences, Kathy mentors the student ambassador team and connects with prospective students and their families. She assists students in securing internships, job opportunities, and undergraduate research experiences. Kathy also manages the school’s social media—be sure to follow @vt_ansci on Instagram and Threads, and the Virginia Tech School of Animal Sciences on LinkedIn.
In her personal time, she loves to travel with her husband. Their bucket list includes visiting all seven continents, all 50 U.S. states along with the 16 U.S. territories, the 63 U.S. national parks, and all ten Canadian provinces plus the three territories.
